One of the things I dislike about “futurists”, and why I do not consider myself one, is that they often follow a similar thought pattern that goes like this: Find cutting edge technology, apply its usage to hypothetical future situations, add more technology and call yourself a futurist. But humanity doesn’t grow that way. Our souls reach out in all directions, our thoughts and ideas are built from the past and the future. We could easily regress to a simpler lifestyle, or develop a new religion that casts all our old moralities and thought processes out the window. Until the “Big Disaster” happens, we really have no idea what is going to happen. That being said, here are a couple links to great future ideas.
